Why are we doing this?
​The Elks Annual Golf Tournament and the Mental Health Gala are more than just events—they are meaningful opportunities to bring our community together in support of mental wellness, connection, and hope. These fundraisers play a vital role in raising awareness, reducing stigma, and generating the resources needed to provide accessible, compassionate care. All funds raised directly support local families in Strathmore and Wheatland County by helping them receive financial assistance for counselling and mental health services. Through the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and attendees, we are able to ensure that individuals and families can access the support they need, when they need it most. Together, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more compassionate community where no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

Due to the overwhelming need for supports in our community, our counselling subsidy program has reached capacity and a waitlist is now in place. As the waitlist continues to grow, we must temporarily pause new applications. This program is in its first year, and available funding is limited. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to support as many individuals as possible.
