Menopause Matters: Real science, Compassionate support, Empowered choices
Dr. Shafeena Premji
is a nationally recognized family physician, expert in menopause medicine, and menopause care leader dedicated to advancing women’s health through compassionate, evidence-based, and individualized care. Dr Premji is a Certified Menopause Society Practitioner since 2015 and a Board Member of the  Canadian Menopause Society since 2020, Dr. Premji is committed to reshaping how menopause is understood, treated, and experienced in Canada. She also serves on the Medical Advisory Board of the Menopause Foundation of Canada, where she contributes to national advocacy, policy development, and public education. With over a decade of experience, she has also built an impactful career as the Founder and Medical Director of three women’s health–focused clinics, including the flagship Milestone – Menopause Centre of Southern Alberta. Opening in March 2026, Milestone is a purpose-built, multidisciplinary centre in SE Calgary redefining how women experience menopause—turning evidence into clear choices, and care into a personalized, compassionate journey. Guided by validation, education, and consent-led decision-making. More than a clinic, Milestone marks the beginning of a new brand and philosophy in women’s health: one that stands beside each woman as a partner in care, replaces confusion with understanding, and blends medical excellence with empowerment, prevention, and community-based support.

In our busy, stressful, and often overwhelming world, it's increasingly difficult to take a moment to slow down, listen to our body, and just breathe. In this session, you will learn breathing techniques for at the gym, in stressful situations and in quiet moments. We will talk about how our posture affects our breath and how to give our bodies the love they deserve.
