Mental health is a community responsibility, and WFCSS works alongside local agencies, organizations and mental health professionals to help make support more accessible. Through partnerships and community initiatives, we connect residents with resources, support services and opportunities that promote mental wellness, reduce barriers to care and strengthen connections within our community.

Elks Mental Health Project
The Elks Mental Health Project is a community-driven initiative focused on improving access to mental health support for individuals and families in Strathmore and Wheatland County.
The project is a partnership between Strathmore Elks No. 491, Wheatland FCSS, Strathmore FCSS, Grit Psychology Inc., Rebloom and Refreshing Insight Counselling. Together, these organizations work to increase access to counselling and mental health services for local residents.
Funds raised through community events, including the Annual Elks Mental Health Golf Tournament and Giving Back Gala, help provide financial assistance toward eligible counselling and mental health services. These events also help build awareness, reduce stigma and bring our community together.
