Keynote Speaker- Billi J Miller
Billi J Miller is an author, photographer, speaker, and writer from east-central Alberta, Canada. Previously a city living 9-5 government worker, Billi moved to the country to marry the man of her dreams in 2010 and traded concrete and traffic for life on a 100-year old prairie farm. Harnessing her entrepreneurial spirit, Billi created a successful business as a photographer and writer. Since 2016, she has published four books candidly exploring life on Canadian family farms and has been recognized on CBC, Global TV, City TV and countless newspapers and magazines both in Canada and in the US. Known for "telling stories from the heart and telling stories that matter with her work, she operates a successful business as an author, freelance writer and speaker". |

Putting Your Thoughts to Page Hosted by: Author Christina Hatton-Fearnley Join author Christina Hatton-Fearnley as she guides us into a journal writing workshop, "Putting Your Thoughts to Page." You will learn tips to begin writing everyday, making journal writing easy, and how to be vulnerable. Christina will also walk through writing activities to help our thoughts get moving. |

Building Resilience in Agriculture Hosted by: Katie Songer from Ag Know Join us for an insightful session introducing AgKnow, the Alberta Farm Mental Health Network, and shedding light on the preliminary research findings on stress and coping in Alberta farmers. Expect practical tips and actionable strategies to boost resilience during stressful periods and effectively manage your mental well-being through transitions on the farm. |

Keeping Traditions Alive Hosted by: Pacey Strangling Wolf In this presentation you will learn about the steps on how to keep traditions alive. Traditions are important to everyone, no matter where you come from. Come and learn about traditions, specifically Indigenous traditions, to learn and understand how traditions are valued. |
Ticket information
Ticket numbers are limited and pre-registration is required. Tickets are not available on the day of the event at the door. Each ticket allows you to attend our Keynote session with Billi J Miller, 3 sessions throughout the day, a chance to shop local vendors, and enjoy a light lunch. Prices: $25 per ticket ~~~All tickets are final sale! No refunds~~~ Ticket sale options are now closed. If you purchased a ticket you can pick it up at the door when checking in on the day of the event. |
Exhibitor Information
Exhibitor booths are $40.00 and includes: one chair and one lunch ticket. Additional lunch tickets may be purchased for a cost of $15. **Tables are not supplied, you must supply your own table. Payment must be received by March 15, 2024. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, e-transfer, or credit card. Please note that only the first representative of any product line will be able to register; thereby, eliminating duplicating services. Access to the building will be from 7:30 am on the morning of the event, until 3:30pm when all displays must be down. |
